About Us

Dutchman’s Landscaping was founded by the current owners, Walter and Sandy Hasselman in 1977.

What originally started out as a Lawn and garden maintenance business has over the years slowly evolved into a landscape construction business.

We decided a long time ago, in the mid 1980’s, that we can be far more efficient and responsive to our customers wants and needs by keeping our company small, and concentrating on giving you the top quality service that you deserve and expect.

We still do our projects one at a time, so that you know you have full attention from the owners as well as the crew that has been with us for a long time.

We are proud to be members of the Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association and of the Canadian Nursery and Landscape Association.

Walter Hasselman has been a board of directors member of the Golden Horsehoe Chapter of Landscape Ontario for the past 15 years.
